14 Long Street

14 Long is situated in the heart of Cape Town’s Central Business District, at the intersection of Riebeek Street and Long Street.

The project scope involves thoughtful architectural enhancements and public realm interventions designed to integrate the site seamlessly into the surrounding urban fabric while creating a welcoming and engaging street edge. The landscape design focuses on introducing a soft, green buffer around the building, incorporating tree planting and lush landscaping to bridge the scale of the tall structure with the pedestrian environment.

These interventions include the installation of new paving, street furniture, and planters, contributing to a vibrant and pedestrian-friendly streetscape. The result is a cohesive design that enhances the building’s relationship with its urban surroundings and elevates the public realm.
